The Vision

To create a high-impact feature film addressing the realities of crime and the power of personal transformation, while simultaneously providing a "live-set" training ground for young people entering the creative industry.

As the Lead Creative, my challenge was to bridge the gap between a grassroots community initiative and a professional-grade cinematic production. I was responsible for the visual DNA of the film—from the initial storyboard sketches to the final frame.

My Role:

Direction & Visual Strategy

I translated the core message into a visual language that felt authentic to a modern audience.

Concept & Storyboarding: I illustrated comprehensive storyboards and concept art that served as the "North Star" for the entire crew, ensuring a unified vision despite the project’s complexity.

Pitching: I developed professional pitch decks to secure buy-in from producers and stakeholders, effectively communicating the film’s emotional and commercial potential.

Cinematography (DP): I acted as the Director of Photography, coordinating complex scenes and lighting setups to ensure a high-production-value aesthetic that defied the project's budget constraints.

Casting & Mentorship: Leading the casting process, I focused on finding authentic voices that could carry the film's "rags-to-riches" arc. Beyond the camera, I mentored the young production team, helping them understand the technical and creative nuances of a professional set.

The Impact

Mainstream Recognition: Featured on ITV News and across multiple London news outlets.

Social ROI: The ultimate KPI—5+ young participants successfully leveraged their experience on this film to launch professional careers within the creative in

Secured Future Funding: The success and professional polish of the film became the primary tool for securing additional funding, turning a one-off project into a sustainable creative initiative.

Educational Workshops: Using the film as a blueprint, I developed and led a series of creative workshops. These sessions taught high-level production skills to young people, bridging the gap between "interest" and "employment."
